After more than 25 years in IT, I became a Florida law enforcement officer and saw a need for a simple, accessible resource that brought essential field information together in one place. I couldn’t find quite what I was looking for, so I built Florida LEO Field Guide.

The goal is straightforward: provide a simple, accessible criminal-law reference that officers can use quickly when time matters. The guide brings together offense summaries, statutes, elements, classifications, and related reference information in one mobile-friendly place.

The guide focuses on common and field-relevant offenses. References link to official statutes, jury instructions, and court sources; verification dates identify the source review. Case summaries are not a comprehensive review of later decisions. Use Report or Feedback to flag corrections.

It is designed to support—not replace—training, agency policy, current law, supervisory guidance, prosecutorial direction, or legal advice. Always verify the current statute and applicable authority before acting.
